The History of the Fascinator hat
First, the fascinator is a small feminine hat without a brim. This lady’s hat is placed in the front of the face, often just above the eyes. You can tip it to the side to achieve a more “naughty” look.
The fascinator is usually decorated with ribbon, feathers, flowers, and a veil. It is smaller than a hat and is held by a comb, an elastic band or clips hidden in the hair.
The fascinator is the ideal hat for a wedding or a ceremony.

How do we wrap our hats ?
- First, we carefully wrap the hat in silk paper.
- Then we place it in a hatbox designed by Fabienne Delvigne. These are specially designed for the Maison.
- Next, we place a certificate of authenticity next to the hat.
- Finally, we delicately perfume it with Guerlain’s Eau de Cashemire. This step reminds us of a beautiful collaboration between the two Maisons.
