Fabienne Delvigne creates Christmas Magic at the Hotel Amigo in Brussels.

For the Christmas holidays, Hotel Amigo proposed to Fabienne Delvigne to bring to the prestigious palace’s Christmas tree her creative touch of hat designer. Enthusiastic and always ready to take up creative challenges, the milliner drew inspiration from nature, noble materials and children’s stories.

Close to the Grand-Place in Brussels, a cold December wind blows through the street of the Amigo. An elegant lady warmly tucked in and wearing a feathered hat, walks towards the entrance of the luxury Amigo hotel. Carrying a hatbox, she smiles at the doorman who gallantly opens the door…

Barely inside all of the young lady’s attention goes to the gigantic Christmas tree, in the middle of the entrance hall and waiting to be decorated. Impressed she walks towards the tree. Softly her hat starts to tremble. She looks discreetly around her: nobody! There is only she and the fir tree. Suddenly, her hat rushes towards the tree. It swirls around it and embraces him with a long garland made out of the same natural fiber material as the hat and decorated with identic feathers. The young woman does not believe her eyes…

The Christmas tree, surrounded by legendary black hatboxes signed Fabienne Delvigne, is decorated with a destructured hat forming a large crown of natural fibers, in golden ochre colours. “The garland of the hat, it will be like the trail of the magic wand of Tinkerbell!” exclaims the milliner, animated by the wonder that guides her creations.

An aerial composition, this innovative fir tree promises to be a unique work straight from a fairy tale. A first for the two renowned houses, not to be missed!
