Their Majesties visit England
The King and Queen participated in Founder’s Day in London, which commemorates the founding of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, a home for veterans of the British Army.
In his speech, the King paid particular tribute to the British soldiers who fought in Belgium during the two world wars.
For the occasion, Queen Mathilde wore one of our creations, ‘Chelsea’, specially designed for her. This headpiece is made from banana fibres and silk, and decorated with feathers in shades of green.
