Between listening, proximity, and attention, the Maison cultivates an intimate and personalised approach, now extended through the Caring Hat project.
An exceptional relationship
Since its inception, Maison has fostered a close relationship with its clients, based on listening, proximity and trust.
True to this spirit, Fabienne Delvigne continues, despite the success and the years, to favour intimate and personalised encounters, in a private setting conducive to discussion and advice.
Driven by this core value and the desire to bring even more well-being to the people she supports, the creator initiated a project in 2021 that is particularly close to her heart: Caring Hat.
This project arose from a growing demand from Maison’s female clients, who, having been diagnosed with an illness, have become patients.
Some of them, who had previously come for joyful occasions like their children's weddings, naturally turned to the designer with a new expectation: to create hats suited to their situation, following hair loss.
They expressed a desire to find an elegant alternative to existing solutions, such as wigs, caps or scarves.
Touched by this request, the creator took this project is dear to me and gave Born in Caring Hat in 2021.
She wanted this initiative to be open to all women, beyond her usual clientele, because when it comes to illness, we are all equal.
Sublime despite alopecia
The Caring Hat project was born from a conviction: to offer people experiencing alopecia, particularly as a result of cancer or another serious illness, an elegant, comfortable, and non-stigmatising alternative to traditional solutions.
Before its launch, Fabienne Delvigne presented her idea to Professor Martine Piccart, who immediately recognised it as a groundbreaking initiative, addressing a human reality beyond the medical sphere. Supported in her endeavour, the designer then brought this project to life.
Beyond the hat, the Caring Hat helps to regain confidence, dignity, and self-esteem, by restoring elegance to its rightful place, even in the most fragile moments.

Caring Hat Fund
A solidarity commitment
To broaden her commitment, Fabienne Delvigne is co-founder of the non-profit organisation Caring Hat Fund, whose mission is to make the Caring Hat accessible to all people affected by hair loss due to serious illness.
The association makes it possible to offer these creations, either partially or in full, to patients who cannot afford them, in a private, calming, and caring setting, far from the medical environment.
At the heart of this approach is a strong conviction: to make beauty accessible to all, to accompany each patient with respect and gentleness.

A significant recognition and breakthrough
Thanks to the pioneering commitment of the ASBL Caring Hat Fund's volunteer members, a major breakthrough has been achieved in Belgium.
From 1 July 2024, people suffering from hair loss due to serious illness can receive reimbursement from their mutual health insurance for certain hats and headwear, thereby facilitating access to solutions that are appropriate and respectful of their well-being.

Each Caring Hat is meticulously designed, adapted, or custom-made to complement every face.
Made from natural, soft, and breathable materials, they envelop the scalp with comfort, while recreating volume, elegance, and security.
Much more than just a hat, the Caring Hat helps to regain confidence, dignity, and self-esteem.
