The History of the Fedora Hat
The fedora has always been considered a classic in the world of hats.
the word “fedora” comes from a hat that Sarah Bernhardt wore in one of her plays. She was the main character in “Fedora”, a drama by Victorien Sardou.
It is an iconic piece that has been worn by many actors such as Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca, or Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones. You can also see it in the movie: Borsalino by Alain Delon and Jean-Paul Belmondo.
The fedora hat is a timeless accessory: it is worn by both men and women in everyday life.

How do we wrap our hats ?
- First, we carefully wrap the hat in silk paper.
- Then we place it in a hatbox designed by Fabienne Delvigne. These are specially designed for the Maison.
- Next, we place a certificate of authenticity next to the hat.
- Finally, we delicately perfume it with Guerlain’s Eau de Cashemire. This step reminds us of a beautiful collaboration between the two Maisons.
