Details of the felt cap

Created especially for the launch of the BMW i8 Roadster, the Vanina cap is made of high-quality velour felt.

Velvet felt is, like cashmere for a jumper, soft to the touch. It is also flattering to the face thanks to its velvety aspect reflected on the face. This hat is, in fact, light, especially if we work it with care and lightness as Maison Fabienne Delvigne always does. Moreover, this soft material is waterproof.

Our caps are available in black, navy blue and turquoise with a black braided leather band or a tone on tone grosgrain ribbon.

Maintenance

To maintain velvet and melusine felts, they should be brushed regularly with a clothes brush. For example, to remove any dust and to raise the hair. Indeed, brushing gives the hat its lustre and shine.

Packaging

First, Maison Fabienne Delvigne carefully wraps the hats in tissue paper. Then places them in a black hat box designed by Fabienne Delvigne. These boxes are tailor made by Maison Fabienne Delvigne. Then, we place a certificate of authenticity next to the hat. Finally, we delicately perfume the hat with Guerlain’s “Eau de Cashmere”. A reminiscence of the beautiful collaboration between our two Maisons.
