The fascinator: its history

First, the fascinator is a small feminine hat without a brim. This lady’s hat is placed in the front of the face, often just above the eyes. You can put it more on one side than the other to give it a little naughty look.

The fascinator is therefore usually decorated with ribbon, feathers, flowers, and a veil. Smaller than a hat, it is held by a comb, an elastic or clips to be hidden in the hair.

The fascinator is the ideal hat for a wedding or a ceremony.
