The hat competition in Waregem

The Waregem Koerse takes place on 29 August, where a hat competition was organized. On this occasion, Maison Fabienne Delvigne came up with a new creation called “Pipolies” for one of our customers. It was a great success, and our client won 2^nd place in the competition and a number of prizes. The press and television were also present at the competition and made sure our winner was highlighted.

This hat is made from banana fiber and dyed to the customer’s requirements in the colour violet. Banana fiber is one of the most precious materials. Supple and fine with a pearly sheen, it gives this creation its strength. It’s also a natural and eco-responsible material. It’s trimmed with butterflies that have been dyed with great patience and dexterity in our workshops.

The matching pouch also features a butterfly.
