Her Majesty Queen Mathilde and Her Serene Highness Princess Elisabeth wore two hats by Maison Fabienne Delvigne during Belgium’s National Day celebrations.

During the Te Deum, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde chose to wear the «Louisa» hat by Maison Fabienne Delvigne.

This is a large sun hat made from an exceptional, extremely fine material: parabuntal. Created especially for this event, the hat is made in a natural colour that showcases this magnificent straw.

During the tribute ceremony for the “heroes” of the coronavirus crisis, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde wore the “Rueda” headband made of banana fibre. The headband was specially dyed for the occasion in a lilac shade. On the side and at the back of this hat, Fabienne Delvigne designed a stylised flower reminiscent of the flowers on the dress by fashion designer Dries van Noten.

Her Highness Princess Elisabeth is wearing a headdress made of draped banana fibre in a beige shade for this Belgian national holiday. This new creation is also by Maison Fabienne Delvigne.
